Bio's
Hi, My name is Nic Roberts. I am lead vocalist and occasional rhythm guitar player for Crosscutt.
I am one of its founders. I have grown up around music my entire life having a very musically inclined family. My Father, mentor and inspiration, Michael Robert, has been playing music since he was 12 years old and my mother, Julie, at one point played Bass, ran sound and lighting. The list of extending family that play music is extensive. I guess it was time to step into the family business and do something I truly loved.
I have had a couple lesser successful music endeavors over the years but this band of brothers is where my passion for music took off! Our mix of country, rock and blues is sure to get you moving!

Hello, My name is Anthony Cunningham. I am the lead guitar player and a back-up vocalist for Crosscutt.
I have been mastering my trade of guitar since I was 10 years old. Playing guitar gives me an outlet to express myself and my art form. Like Nic I am one of the founders of Crosscutt.
My influences range from SRV, Jimi Hendrix, the King's Albert, Freddy and BB King to Jimmy Page, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Jonny Lang and John Mayer. I love all music but blues are my roots!

Hi, My name is Larry "L.T." Thomas and I am the Bassist and a back-up vocalist for Crosscutt.
I have Also been playing music since a young age, as early as I can remember really. I started off playing guitar then later switched to bass. I started playing professionally in High School in N.C. I've worked in many clubs in the LA and Hollywood areas in the 70's & 80's, 5-6 nights a week. We would open for names like Tina Turner, Smokey Robinson, The Commodores, Tower of Power, Pointer Sisters, lakeside and Wild Cherry to name a few. I also owned a Production Company in the Inland Empire called "Take 5 Productions" where I planned and organized many shows in that area.
I am re-discovering my gifts and love of music with Crosscutt after taking a break in the late 80's.

Hi there, My name is Jason (JJ) Jackson and I'm the man with the Kit and the Sticks bangin' on the skins for Crosscutt, in 2022!
JJ was born and raised in San Diego, CA. He was introduced to the drums at age five by his father, who is also a drummer that performed with B.B. King, Johnny Mathis, Pearl Bailey, Lee Greenwood, The Supremes, and The Temptations just to name a few. JJ would accompany his father to band rehearsals to get an inside look into what it means to practice and rehearse as a professional musician.
In his early teens, JJ participated in high school jazz, concert, and marching bands where he developed valuable rudiment and dynamic experience on all instruments in the percussion family. In addition to his father, his private teachers and mentors at the time included Kirk Hoffman, a renowned San Diego drum instructor, and grade school friend/neighbor Jorge Palacios of the Rick Springfield Band, who all gave JJ the technical and practice guidance he would need to turn professional.
Most recently JJ is known for his work in the San Diego hard rock cover scene, for which he formed 2 premiere party rock bands that covered "Top 40" hits in venues ranging from the San Diego House of Blues, Del Mar County Fair, Viejas Casino "Ultimate Music Challenge" finalist, and an array of live music venues throughout the county.
When not playing the drums, JJ spends the majority of his time with his wife Robin and their son Tyler.
